I went on a busy day and, somehow, the place didn’t turn into total chaos. The lines actually kept moving, which was a nice change from what you usually expect, and the staff did a decent job keeping people spread out. It was all easy, honestly — not that it should be impressive, but here we are.

I’m giving this 5 stars because the food prices were better than I expected. For a place like this, I was ready to spend a lot more, but the snacks, drinks, and lunch options felt fair. We grabbed lunch and a couple of waters, and it never felt like we were getting ripped off. That was such a nice surprise and made the whole day feel easier. It’s great to see a place that keeps things reasonable for families and visitors.

I grabbed lunch there and liked it more than I expected. The food was fresh, hot, and actually had flavor, not the basic zoo food I was expecting. I’d definitely eat there again.

We had a nice visit overall and enjoyed ourselves. The place was fun and I’m glad we went, but the ticket prices felt kind of steep for what we actually ended up doing. I mean, it was a good time, don’t get me wrong, but also I kept thinking it probably should’ve included a little more for the cost. Still, we left happy enough

From what I remember, the site did work in the end, but finding the tickets took longer than I expected. It felt a bit clunky to navigate, even though I eventually got where I needed to go.

The whole place was sooo clean. The bathrooms and walking paths stayed really tidy all day, which I definitely appreciated.

I was kind of disappointed with the variety of animals. For such a big-name place, I really expected there to be a lot more to see. Some areas felt empty, and others seemed like they were just repeating the same types of animals or exhibits. The site itself was fine, but the overall experience didn’t really live up to what I had in mind. It also gave me a bit of that feeling that they’re more focused on getting people through the door and making money than actually offering a really impressive animal experience

The staff were really nice and easy to talk to. They were friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience simple and pleasant.

Signing up was easy, which made me a little suspicious at first. But the free visits do add up, so for now it feels like the membership is actually worth it...

I was able to find what I needed without much trouble using my screen reader, which isn’t always the case with places like this. It felt like someone actually thought about accessibility for once.

We stopped by and ended up asking a bunch of random animal questions, and the staff handled every single one like it was no big deal. Nobody made us feel rushed, and they genuinely seemed to care about what they were sharing. If one visit is any indication, this is the kind of place where the people really know their stuff and enjoy helping you learn. We left knowing way more than we expected. Such a great day.

I really like what the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is doing for animals and their habitats. It feels good supporting a place that seems to actually put conservation first instead of just showing animals for entertainment. My only annoyance is that some of their communication can be a little unclear at times, and I wish they made certain details easier to understand. Still, I’m glad to support the work they’re doing for wildlife

I felt like we spent more time waiting around than actually seeing the animals lol. It was still nice to be there, but the long waits definitely took away from the experience.

I visited the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and left feeling really happy with the whole experience. The habitats looked spacious and well kept, with plenty of shade, plants, and room for the animals to move around.
What I liked most was that it felt more natural than a lot of zoos I’ve been to. It really seemed like they put thought into what the animals need, not just what looks good for visitors, and that made the visit feel even better.

We went to the San Diego Zoo and, parking was way easier than I thought it would be. I was expecting the usual circling around forever situation, but we got there in the morning and found a spot quickly. Small miracle, honestly.
Getting around inside the zoo was smooth too. The transportation options helped a lot once everyone started getting tired from all the walking, which happened sooner than some of us wanted to admit. The signs were easy enough to follow, and the staff pointed us in the right direction when we needed it.

It really made the whole day feel less stressful and more fun. For that alone, I’d give it 5 stars, because when parking and getting around are easy, the day is already off to a good start.

Most of the animals looked well cared for, which made me feel a little better while walking around. But I couldn’t shake the feeling that some of the enclosures seemed small, and that made me uncomfortable. I wanted to enjoy the visit, but I left with mixed feelings.
